Tennis for Everyone

The
Oak Lawn Tennis Association
(OLTA)

Be Active, Get Fit, Have Fun

45 seasons of serving the LGBT+ tennis community and their allies

Welcome

It's Season 45 for the Oak Lawn Tennis Association!

Great News!!!

Beginning Tuesday, April 2nd, our Tuesday night sessions will be played at Greenhill School from 7pm - 9pm. We have been searching for a northern location for the convenience of our members who live in the north Dallas and northern suburb areas. We believe this location will be perfect! The facility is awesome and the courts are impeccable. To get to the tennis courts, use the entrance off of Midway Road turning onto Hornet Road and drive all the way back to the last parking lot. The tennis courts are on the south side of the parking lot.

More great news!!!

We have several events planned for the near future.

On Sunday, May 5th, we're having a Cinco de Mayo celebration at Kiest Tennis Center. Food, fun tennis events, and festive music will all be a part of the event. There will also be a mixed-doubles tournament as part of the celebration so find a partner and register when it opens up next month.

On Sunday, June 2nd, OLTA will have an official entry in the Pride Parade at Fair Park. If you'd like to be on the float or help with the design of it, let us know. Or you can come  support us at the parade and pass out flyers for our Pride event on June 8th.

On Saturday, June 15th, we will partner with the Dallas Tennis Association (DTA) for a big Tennis Pride event at Kiest Tennis Center. There will be drills, tennis trivia in the pro shop, open play for doubles and singles, a singles tournament, information booths, music, food and more! We want to invite the LGBTQ+ community to come out and experience tennis!

There will be more updates coming soon to our webpage so check back often to keep abreast of the latest happenings with OLTA!
