We are looking for volunteers for the Texas Open tournament. If you would like to assist us in various roles, please complete the form below. You can volunteer for 2, 4, or 6 hours. You will also be able to help yourself to drinks, snacks, lunches, and other items available to the players. We look forward to working with you!
Texas Open 2025
held October 2 - 5, 2025
We are ready to host the biggest GLTA tournament in Texas! We're looking forward to seeing everyone this year in Dallas for a rocking good time!! Below is the schedule of events to take place. In the column on the right, there are links for maps to the facilities, our promotional video, tournament program, and photo gallery. If you plan to attend the Welcome party or Banquet, click the link on the right and sign up so we can have an accurate head count. See you soon!
Schedule for this year's Texas Open:
Thursday - October 2nd, 5pm - 8pm
Welcome Party at JR's Bar & Grill. We'll be on the rooftop for drinking, socializing and fun. Pick up your player bag.
Friday - October 3rd, all day starting at 8am
Tournament play begins at the Kiest Tennis Center, Thorntree Golf Club, and the Arlington Tennis Center. All doubles and mixed doubles matches will take place at Kiest Tennis Center that afternoon/evening.
Saturday - October 4th, all day starting at 8am
Singles and doubles main draw match play takes place at the Kiest Tennis Center. Some consolation matches will take place at Thorntree. Some consolation winners will be determined.
Saturday - October 4th, 6pm - 10pm
Tournament Banquet, Ozona's Grill & Bar. Time for a party! Food, drinks, music, and entertainment with all of your old and new friends from the tournament.
Sunday - October 5th, Championship Day starting at 9am
Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles championships decided for the main draw and some consolation draws.
