ABOUT US
Background
Formed in 1979, the Oak Lawn Tennis Association (OLTA) started with a group of friends who enjoyed tennis. The group evolved over the years, playing host to the first LGBT tennis tournament in the country and eventually becoming a charter member of the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA).
OLTA invites all players -- no matter how you identify or ability level -- to play social and competitive tennis, and join fun social activities, throughout the year.
OLTA is a non-profit organization. Member dues cover court fees, club tournaments, social events and administrative costs. Proceeds from some events go to charities in the DFW area.
